Frequently asked

Is my MOV uploaded to a server? +

No. The conversion runs in your browser with WebCodecs. Your MOV never leaves your device. Fast, private, no upload, no watermark.

Will I lose quality converting MOV to MP4? +

MOV and MP4 are close cousins. If your MOV already uses H.264, the video is copied straight into the MP4 with no re-encoding, so it's visually identical. Other codecs get re-encoded to H.264, a normal lossy step you usually won't notice.

It says my browser can't encode H.264. What now? +

MP4 needs an H.264 encoder when re-encoding is required. Chrome and Edge have one. Firefox does not. Open this page in Chrome or Edge and try again.
